Experimentation, transparency and integrity
At Amarc, we have always been open to experimentation and continuous research. As highlighted by Giorgio Ardesi in the interview, we have always been convinced that doing business means first and foremost operating in a correct and transparent manner. This concept is one of the pillars of our philosophy and permeates everything we do. Our cast-in heaters, which are crucial components of forming – filling – closing (HFFS and VFFS) and thermoforming machines, perfectly exemplify this philosophy. We conducted rigorous research to precisely and safely identify the benefits of this technology.

From this research, it emerged that “compared to cartridge heaters, wheel heaters, mica flat heaters, or silicone rubber heaters, the plates with embedded tubular heaters ensure superior durability, reliability, efficiency, and safety”.
Our heaters also provide excellent electrical insulation – under any condition – and uniform temperature throughout the entire surface, with the added advantage of having a single electrical connection, regardless of size.
Research and development: a constant commitment
Currently, we are collaborating with an external research centre, conducting tests to quantify in detail the advantages of aluminium heaters. Additionally, our technical office is implementing advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis methods to accurately predict heating temperatures.
In operational conditions, many of our clients have observed that the plates offer more uniform and efficient heat transfer, reducing the time needed to reach desired working temperatures. These research and development efforts allow us to continuously improve our solutions, offering products that stand out for their high performance and reliability.
The value of advanced engineering
Another topic we addressed with Italia Imballaggi is the value of our products, particularly cast-in heaters.
For us, it is important that the products we create bring real benefits to the client, thus compensating for any higher purchase costs, considering that these are just one of the items in the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), which encompasses all the costs over the life cycle of a piece of equipment.
The high level of engineering of aluminum heaters, for example, is designed to ensure ease of use and maximum safety. The fact that the heating element is integrated into the plate eliminates the risk of heat exchange with the air, prolonging the component’s lifespan and reducing machine downtime.
